Christopher Sampson is a Queensland-based post-production practitioner, currently working across a range of creative screen projects. Involved in the arts from a young age, he was a member of Adelaide-based youth circus company Cirkidz for twelve years, performing in major productions and countless professional functions, building a mature and proactive approach to creative work.

Previous short films include experimental drama DRIFT (2016), multi-award winning coming of age drama MILES (2017, Cannes Film Festival, FlickerFest) and EROS (2019). In 2023, he edited feature documentary AGAINST THE TIDE which premiered at the Gold Coast Film Festival 2023.

He continues to work with a range of companies and productions in various capacities, including international television series and independent Australian works.

In 2018/19, Christopher was supported by the Navigate: Young Artist Development Program, a City of Gold Coast initiative to support the development of local arts and culture. In 2021, he was the recipient of a Screen Queensland professional attachment on C!RCA's production of 'Shaun the Sheep's Circus Show'.

Christopher's roots as a performer imbue his cinematic work, with a clear focus on intimate movements and visceral experiences, always with a unique sensitivity and humanity.

He is currently working towards his debut feature film, a multi-narrative drama film that explores the interconnecting lives of four families.
